What do miracles actually proove?

 The Torah tells the “story” of the Navi Sheker, the false prophet, who brings signs and miracles to prove himself. The signs and miracles that he foretells may indeed come true, and yet we are to disregard them. They are merely a test by Hashem of our faith. We learn from this not to be influenced by signs and miracles of all manner; they don’t mean proof!
